National parks
America the Beautiful Access Pass
The free lifetime Access Pass is available to eligible US citizens and permanent residents with a medically determined permanent disability that significantly limits one or more major life activities. Type 1 diabetes may qualify, but approval depends on the individual requirements and documentation.

TSA Cares
Request free help with airport security screening when traveling with diabetes devices, insulin, medical liquids, and supplies. TSA recommends contacting them at least 72 hours before your trip.

Breakthrough T1D offers free support packs for children, teens, and adults living with Type 1 diabetes.
Michigan families
Michigan Family Center
A free Michigan program that connects families of children with medical, physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional needs with parent support, community resources, and learning opportunities. Your child does not need to be enrolled in CSHCS for your family to use the Family Center.
